On the morning of July 15, 2023, Tan Xuguang presided over the Weichai Gen-set and Marine Engine Strategic Symposium with Customers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and exchanged in-depth views on the performance, outstanding problems and development suggestions of Weichai engine products in the Vietnamese market.
A number of gen-set OEM companies and marine engine distributors that have cooperated with Weichai for decades made exchanges and speeches, and they said that Weichai engine products performance, quality and service level are getting better and better. Weichai engine products have maintained a rapid growth trend in the Vietnamese market, and its market share has become the first foreign brand in Vietnam, with a cumulative sales of more than 100,000 engines, which helped establish a good brand image of Weichai.
Tan Xuguang said that Vietnam is the market near our home and has always been one of the most important markets for Weichais globalization development. We have been deeply engaged for more than 30 years and it led to our current brand influence in Vietnam. We hope that we can cherish our efforts and jointly promote Weichai products to take the high-end brand route in Vietnam.
