Mr. Tan Xuguang, born in Weifang, Shandong Province, member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), doctor of Engineering of Tianjin University, is a senior engineer. Currently, he is the Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., and also the Secretary of the commission of the CPC of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., Chairman and Strategic Scientist of Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd., Chairman of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd., Chairman, Chief Engineer of Weichai Power Co., Ltd., Director of the State Key Laboratory of Engine and Powertrain System and Director of Expert Committee of National Center of Technology Innovation for Fuel Cell.
Mr. Tan Xuguang is the Member of the 14th national committee of Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Industrial Economics, Vice Chairman of China Enterprise Confederation/China Enterprise Directors Association, Vice President of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Vice President of Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines.
He has been engaged in internal combustion engine and power system technology innovation and engineering management for more than 40 years, and is an industry leader and technology entrepreneur in this field with a high influence in the global industry.
